Behind the brand By Manet, I am Emmanuelle Musset, ceramist, artist, designer and craftswoman.

In my workshop in Igny (Essonne), I like to mix materials to create unique objects, whose beauty enlightens the daily life.

The objects I create belong to different collections. I see enamel as a new material, similar to glass, and I use the know-how I acquired at l’Ecole Boulle, les Beaux-Arts and La Cambre.

I allow myself a freedom of style and approach that invites to look for a subtle connection between my different creations. If one collection seems to belong to my blue period and another one to my pink period, there is always, between them and beyond appearances, a link, a starting point, a fluid guideline animated by a sense of lines and volumes.

In keeping with the strong ecological values I stand for, I built my workshop with ecological materials and I equipped it with recycled furniture. I adapted the way I work so it can be as ‘green’ as possible, in line with my deep commitment to protect the environment.
