Thanks to a meticulous cutting or perforation technique, openwork ceramic objects feature delicate, airy patterns. Their simple, uncluttered design contrasts with the sophistication of complex patterns or the translucence of stained-glass enamel.
A lacework of earth and glass, these refined objects fit perfectly into a variety of interior styles, bringing a timeless, artistic touch to any space. Discover the fascinating world of By Manet openwork ceramics, where tradition and modernity come together to create unique lamps and remarkable tableware.
These large lamps are openworked by hand, using a scalpel, on a turned stoneware piece.
They can be designed as electric lamps or simply set up as a candle jar for outdoor use on a balmy summer’s night.
Both chic and exotic, the lamps in this openwork collection are inspired by the oriental world of Mariano Fortuny, the facades of Venetian palaces and the soft golden light of Venice at night.
Designed to decorate your home and give it a touch of originality, they are made to order and can be customized.

In this collection, cups and plates are perforated with holes made waterproof by an enamel that fills them.
Always visible in its fluid characteristic, enamel goes beyond its decorative state and becomes functional.
Freed for a moment from the wall, it comes closer to the main quality of glass: its translucence.
The tiny, stained-glass-like windows let in the light and offer a new vision of the enamel material. These openings are reminiscent of another field outside ceramics where enamel takes on this function, the technique of plique à jour.
Each piece is cast and pierced by hand. The enamel is the result of research personal.
