This collection of tableware is inspired by the colors of the city of Venice and the openwork of its jagged stone facades. Soft, round shapes in luminous pastel colors.
Whether turned or slab-built, each piece has its own unique character, with its own grain and glaze of varying intensity. The stoneware comes from Belgium, its sandy color left raw on the outside for a soft, warm feel, while the colors of the glazes, developed through personal research, express their inner nuances.
The shape and diameter of the plates are not insignificant, because once turned upside down, they fit perfectly over bowls and ramekins. They match exactly to form lids that retain heat, preserve food in the refrigerator, or transform the object into a jewellery box.
