At first glance, it appears to be a sculptural form. On closer inspection, the totem reveals itself to be made up of several parts. Once disassembled, it is made up of various containers, plates, salad bowls, trays and bowls!
This collection experiments with connections between clay and complementary materials to create hybrid sculptural objects.
The vase is a fascinating, ancient and universal object. With its infinite variety of shapes and materials, it is at once an object of use, worship and pageantry.
This collection showcases the combination of its many facets.
The pieces are crafted using the most precise turning techniques to achieve the right joints. Their aesthetic treatment expresses the beauty of raw clay on the outside and the surprise of color on the inside.
These totems are active sculptures, inviting people to reunite around a meal. The bright or neutral colors inside activate the ritual of this moment of sharing. These table services encourage the staging of this convivial moment, offering new perspectives for these indispensable everyday objects.
Inspired by a certain Japanese aesthetic, this large service allows six guests to gather and share exotic dishes. Each custom-turned wooden tray secures stacked containers.
Totem service designed in collaboration with the brand Almai brand, which offers traditional pieces made by Colombian artisans from palm fiber.
3-in-2 bowls:
A ceramic shape that can be used as a stand or container. A crocheted plastic bowl that can be clipped on or off.
For the kitchen, office or bathroom.
With a multi-faceted approach to objects, Totem explores different combinations of sandstone, glass and wood. She highlights the intrinsic characteristics of each material so that they complement each other.
Glass, for example, provides transparency, while wood is easy to adapt. By combining these materials, we create hybrid aesthetics: the functional object is also sculptural.
